30th April 2023 Rockschool Concert & High Scorers Recognition Awards was marked by April showers, but despite the rainy evening, the audience turnout was still impressive as the Rockschool Singapore community came out to support the student performers, and the recognition awardees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

The Rockschool Concert is finally back after a long hiatus, with a global pandemic preventing the community from gathering. In spite of this, the community managed to thrive, and we are beyond honored to have been able to host and experience first-hand the exceptional talent the Rockschool Singapore Community has to offer in a showcase of their skills.<\/p>\n\n\n

We extend our deepest gratitude to our community, Partners, teachers, and to all the students and parents who make our work possible.<\/p>\n\n\n

We were particularly excited for this year’s event, which featured collaborative performances between student-musicians from different schools. It was also a first-time experience for many of them to perform with a live band.<\/p>\n\n\n

Energetic dance performances presented by the students from 5th Avenue School of Jazz & Street Dance students delighted the crowd. Some of these performers are also High Scorer Awardees for the RSL PAA Street Dance Exams!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In future concerts, we hope to continue this wider participation from our network of partners, educators, learners and enthusiasts to showcase the best that the Rockschool SIngapore community has to offer\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Venue<\/strong>
The Singapore Conference Hall is a music oasis that resides along the bustling city street of Shenton Way and is the home base for the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, as well as Singapore\u2019s largest European Piano showroom, Bechstein Music World.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
