21st-22nd October 2023 \u2013 Young pianists came in from all over the region with a total of 99 finalists selected from more than 500 participants across the Exam and Junior Categories from all over the region including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Germany, USA, Australia, Taiwan, Myanmar and the Philippines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Singapore Grand Finals held that weekend featured the participants in the Exam and Junior Categories, and we heard some of the most beautiful renditions of piano exam pieces from the Exam Category contestants, as well as brilliant performances from the Junior Category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a difficult decision for the jury panel due to the exceptional performances from the participants in the final round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations once again to all the Winners, and to all the Finalists who made it through to the grand finals!<\/p>\n\n\n

Singapore Spirit at the International Grand Finals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

International Grand Finalist and representative of Singapore in the Open Professional Category Tan Jing Yang was also awarded his certificates from the International Grand Finals held in Guangzhou, China from 1st-5th October 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud835\udfcf\ud835\udfd7-\ud835\udc32\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc2b-\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc25\ud835\udc1d \ud835\udc13\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc27 \ud835\udc09\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc20 \ud835\udc18\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc20 is one of the youngest contestants to emerge among the top 18 finalists to enter the \ud835\udfd0\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1d \ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2e\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1d \ud835\udc28\ud835\udc1f the \ud835\udfd0\ud835\udfce\ud835\udfd0\ud835\udfd1 \ud835\udc0a\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc32\ud835\udc2c\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1b\ud835\udc2e\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc20 \ud835\udc08\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc25 \ud835\udc18\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc2e\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc21 \ud835\udc0f\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc28 \ud835\udc02\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc26\ud835\udc29\ud835\udc1e\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc2d\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc28\ud835\udc27 in the Open Category held at Guangzhou, Baiyun International Convention Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/td>Jing Yang performed works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Ravel. His 18-minute performance showed command, intensity, poetry\u00a0 and sensitivity and, was nothing less than riveting and sensational. Despite having to juggle his time with less than 2 days a week to practice due to his commitment to National Service in the Singapore Army, Jing Yang\u2019s remarkable performance at the Kayserburg International piano competition is awe-inspiring.\u00a0
His message for the many boys and girls out there in Singapore is to stay passionate and be devoted to the thing you love \u2013 \ud835\udc0c\ud835\udc2e\ud835\udc2c\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc1c

The Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition Celebrates its 40th Anniversary with this year\u2019s competition<\/strong> \u2013 Held every 2 years, the KIYPC was founded with the aim to bring together aspiring piano players of all nationalities in a celebration of music and passion amid global hardships, and to spread joy and hope into the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
