He taught piano students, undergraduates from tertiary institution and music colleges in Malaysia and Singapore such as University Malaya (UM), University Institute Technology Mara (UiTM), Segi College (PJ), Malaya Institute of Art (MIA), and music teachers completing their diploma certificates.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In his earlier years, he participated and won in several piano competitions, such as the Yamaha Malaysia Grand Prix 1990, Mozart Competition in Penang 1991, and during his time in Birmingham Conservatoire.
